Congrats Henry and all YELL Leaders

Last night we had the celebration of MoreSports YELL program volunteers held at RayCam Community Centre.

Mayor Sam Sullivan and Donavan Tildesleyn (Paralympian), were guest speakers for the recognition event.

English Bay HUB Dragons Outstanding Leader Nominee: Henry Hong

Henry Hong started volunteering with the King George Community Schools Team last year as an Elsie Roy homework club leader. It was a great experience for Henry as he found that he thoroughly enjoyed working with elementary school aged children. Henry wanted to get more involved as the homework club only runs once a week so he became a Grade 2-3 MoreSports Basketball Coach. He has since then coached a sport each season and has been responsible, outgoing, energetic, dedicated and one of our fastest leaders. The children at Elsie Roy love Henry and he is well deserving of this recognition.
