What's New at MoresportsWorld Mini Soccer Jam
On Saturday June 20, the annual MoreSports World Mini Soccer Jam is happening at Hastings Park in the Empire Bowl fields. This is an exciting community event for kids to come on out and play soccer, make new friends, and have a blast. Children in kindergarten through grade 7, who don't normally get a chance to play soccer, have the opportunity to try the sport in a fun, safe, and encouraging environment. It also features a community & cultural fun fair where kids get to participate in a variety of activities including a live band, snacks, and prizes. This soccer festival is the conclusion and celebration of 10 weeks of mini soccer programs, in 7 hubs of 14 sites throughout Vancouver. Corporate support plays an important role in this event, making it possible for us to bus kids from all over Vancouver to the Soccer Jam. Last year these fields saw over 1500 kids play on 160 soccer teams, and we need your help to make this happen again. So get involved with MoreSports. Join us at Empire Bowl Saturday June 20, 2009.
